I’ve been doing this for years with left over Easter/Halloween candy, although I just toss them and let them melt. So the top tastes like coffee, but with each additional sip it turns more and more into a fondue pot. =D

Yeah, not exactly the weirdest one I’ve tried.

Almonds could be good. I tried peanuts once and that was pretty disgusting, but they were salted and the texture was a problem. Maybe some sort of filtering process is needed.

Yay! Another success! I was wondering when you were going to try something of this sort. I think for your next experiment you should try something a little less conventional. I was recently wondering how Almonds would taste in coffee. You’d need to peel them first, but I’m thinking it’d taste yummy. Or knowing you, you’d just throw in the whole trail mix, raisins and all

“Easter. The time of year when we pause to contemplate and honour the sacrifice made by everyone.” THAT’S what I was supposed to be doing? Damnit! I wish you’d told me this 30 years ago when I began celebrating Easter, I’ve been doing it wrong for years!

I’m not sure this qualifies as “weird”, I mean chocolate and coffee have gone together like peanut butter and jelly for years. BUT it sounds good, perhaps the first one of these posts I’d consider trying. I like the idea of the cream eggs…. And that laying on the bathroom floor ill from eating too many of those? Yeah, I’ve been there, more then once.
