Bonus Post: Butter Chicken Plus Coffee Minus Chicken

February 9, 2010

I love me some butter chicken. So when I created curry coffee last Friday, I couldn’t help but see what happens when one of butter chicken’s defining ingredients was added.

(yeah, butter, not chicken)

It gave the coffee a completely different, but not entirely unpleasant, smell. Taste-wise, it was like adding butter on top of spicy coffee. No real complimenting of flavours going on.

I’ll stick with “normal” curry flavored coffee.

It sure looks cool though!

Can coffee come to a boil?
IF it can you should try poaching an egg in there. It works for tomato soup. Why not coffee?

Looks yummy to me. It is just like the remnants of coffee from your lips when you bite into a buttered roll and have a sip at your espresso coffee Great post. I really enjoy your posts. Keep it up!

in a season 3 episode of bizarre foods, andrew zimmern is served coffee with butter in it. also coffee with salt in it. he didn’t like either, but the plain black coffee they gave him he said was good.
